We’re living in times where international tension is at a level most of us have never seen in our lifetimes. In the past year, where we’ve seen major elections in Japan, Korea, and America, increased volatility on the Korean peninsula, and continued tension around the world, the need for us to reach out with the hand of friendship has become all the more apparent.
We at hashi.org want to continue to be more involved in that outreach. With your help, we can expand our program to benefit more people with scholarships and continue improving our website with more cultural exchange opportunities for everyone.
Atsuko Irisa and Jeanne Jung continue to work with hashi.org as language specialists, translators, and researchers. Atsuko and Jeanne have since done great service to hashi.org in the form of translation work, NPO paperwork filing and research, and tour arrangements. They have also represented hashi.org at various events, including the Annual Japan Society Gala Awards dinner. CLICK HERE for highlights.
